RANGE UNKNOWN | FAYETTEVILLE

  • Orthodox Farmhouse Brewery (map)

Fayetteville has got it good.

Northwest Arkansas is a part of the state shaped by growth, access, and opportunity. But just a few hours east is a very different Arkansas — one with deep roots in the same story.

The Arkansas Delta is one of the most distinctive places in America — rich farmland, wild rivers, forested ridges, extraordinary music, food, stories, and traditions shaped by generations of people who made their lives there.

The Delta helped build Arkansas and America. Its fertile land, forests, rivers, agriculture, labor, and communities contributed to the growth and prosperity of our state and nation.

Yet today, many Delta communities face persistent poverty, poor health outcomes, and limited access to everyday resources many of us in NWA take for granted. And despite being only a few hours away, many of us rarely experience the Delta, talk about it, or understand what is happening there today.

Come change that.

Range Unknown is a relaxed gathering of friends and friends-of-friends built around food, drinks, conversation, and connection.

We’ll talk about the Delta — its people, landscapes, history, challenges, and possibilities — and hear about work already underway to improve health, opportunity, and quality of life in rural communities.

Range Unknown is an invitation to discover a part of Arkansas worth knowing — and consider what you might have to offer.

Maybe it is your time.
Your expertise.
Your connections.
Your voice.
Your money.

There is no single way to help move the Delta forward.

Some people join Range Unknown by bike. Some run or walk. Some pull up a chair. We all listen, learn, and find ways to contribute - together..

Just Show Up

Food, drinks, good people - a relaxed gathering for folks who want to learn more about the Delta and explore simple ways to help.

What is studioDRIFT?

studioDRIFT is a nonprofit doing practical, sometimes unconventional work to make rural communities healthier, more connected, and more fun to live in and visit.

studioDRIFT is a community.

We build infrastructure. We create trails and access to waterways. We host great events. We connect parks, sidewalks, trails, streets, healthcare providers, and community resources.

The work is about more than recreation.

By making it easier for people to be active close to home, studioDRIFT is helping embed physical activity into everyday life and chronic-disease prevention while bringing more attention, investment, and opportunity to the Arkansas Delta.
